Visit of the Old Town
The maritime and amber capital of Poland, Gdansk, is also known as the town of Lech Walesa whose solidarity movement overthrew communism. The town has the thousand years history and used to be a jewel of the Hanseatic League. Conveniently situated at the mouth of River Wisla, on the main trade route, in the 14th and 15th centuries, the town of Gdansk grew to be one of the biggest and richest Baltic ports. The Old City with its big buildings and burgher houses built in the style of the North European Renaissance by master-builders from Flanders and the Netherlands is decorated with characteristic ante thresholds.
The Old Town of Gdansk is lined up with richly ornamented old merchant houses including the Gothic town hall housing the Historical Museum of Gdansk and the Artus Court -the heart of cultural and commercial life in the old Gdansk. The symbol of Gdansk is The Neptune Fountain. The Crane on the Motlawa river was the biggest port crane in the medieval Europe. The Gothic St. Mary`s Church is the largest old brick church in Europe.

Drive to Sopot – On the way stop in Oliwa district to discover the Oliwa Cathedral with the famous organ. Organ concert in the cathedral. Continue to Sopot – the most famous spa and seaside resort known for fantastic Art Nouveau eclectic villas from the 19th and 20th century. One of the Sopot`s attractions is the longest wooden pier [512 m].
I must say that your Intercrac team & staff were extremely helpful, punctual and flexible. As soon as I appeared with a problem, you were extremely quick in coming up with appropriate and suitable solutions for some specific, last minute requests we had such as programme changes, restaurant and menu changes…
Me & my colleagues certainly appreciated your presence at the event – your active involvement in getting everything set up and ready was great. Invoicing: I really appreciate the fact that you were able to send the final invoice very quickly with all details needed and I was very much impressed that I had no questions and comments as everything was clear, precise and on top of that correct.
In conclusion I would say Intercrac remain our preferred partners to work with for future events. But all in all, up till this moment, I am very happy with the services I have received from Intercrac.
