Build on a site inhabited since the Paleolithic period, the Old City of Baku reveals evidence of Zoroastrian, Sasanian, Arabic, Persian, Shirvani and Ottoman presence in cultural continuity. The Old City (Icheri Sheher) has preserved much of its 12th century defensive walls. 

During the tour, you will be invited to explore medieval Caravanserais (Multani, Bukhara, Smaller and Two-Stored), traditional mosques with calligraphic facades (Juma, Sinyg Gala), trading streets with unique atmosphere, walk along hamams and houses of merchants and artists.
