Belgium honestly has the best food in the world. Not only do we have world-famous chocolates (nice to incorporate in an incentive), we also have great seafood, lovely cheese and amazing beers and wines, and a long list of three star Michelin restaurants. It is a good ingredient for any program.

We also have stunning cities, like Bruges (The Venice of the North), Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels, where it feels that you have stepped back in time. You’ll find cobblestoned streets, historic squares, canals and old merchant houses, great art and culture galore.  Beaches, the rolling hills and forest of the Ardennes, great events like F1 near Spa, plenty of reasons to consider our country as the place for an incentive or event.

BOAT TOUR ON THE MEDIEVAL CANALS

Bruges is built on wetlands and that resulted in the digging of canals during the Middle Ages. These
canals called the “reien” still exist and are found all over the town centre. Back in the days they were
used as waterways for commercial transportation but now only 20 licensed identical boats are allowed.

Queues can be long, so we charter a boat for your participants. Your clients will not have to wait, as
the boat will wait for them.

The tour takes about 30 minutes and will bring you to the most beautiful corners of Bruges which was
the richest city of Northern Europe in the 15th century. Back then, it was even bigger than London!

Optionally, at Blue Chocolate DMC Belgium, we can serve sparkling wine during the boat tour to make it a perfect start of their dinner.

More about me

I have lived near Brussels since I was small. I love to travel and to visit different countries. I know the famous cities of Belgium inside-out. 

I graduated as event manager with a bachelor degree, a study which is relatively new. This training prepared me for the flying start I had in this amazing industry.
