ACCRA- ADA FOAH- ACCRA

After breakfast drive to the fishing town of Ada Foah along the Volta River, go on guided tours of the islands and observe boat-building and basket-weaving.

Enjoy a buffet lunch including samples of Ghanaian and West African specialties at the Aqua Safari Resort which overlooks the estuary of the Volta River about a mile upstream from the ocean.

The port of Ada is located at the mouth of the Volta River. Thus, Ada boasts both outstanding beaches and exquisite riverfront scenery.

After lunch, go on a boat-ride exploring Ghana’s most beautiful island.

Enjoy numerous water sporting activities and organized games.

The group will be served a full course dinner  which will include a selection of Ghanaian specialties while they enjoy  a cultural performance by Ghana’s most accomplished dance group, the Ghana Dance Ensemble. After dinner you will be invited to meet with and take pictures with the performers.

I was born in the Republic of Guinea (Guinea-Conakry) and was sent to Cote d’ Ivoire for schooling at an early age.

I started with Continent Tours when the company was preparing to open in Ghana in 2006 and have traveled throughout West Africa for assignments ranging from hotel inspection to conference arrangement and management, which provides me with an intimate knowledge of the various cultures, mores and expectations.
