Why Norway is such a great destination

If you enjoy nature, you’ll simply love Norway! Mountains, fjords, forests, rivers and waterfalls, lakes, but also wide beaches and long coastlines, you will all find it in Norway. Not to mention the great wildlife: beavers, whales and mooses of course. Norway also has a rich bird life, even eagles can be spotted in Norway! Northern lights also light up our beautiful country

And if you and your clients prefer to have an active or adventure trip, there are countless outdoor activities we can organise for you in Norway. Think of hiking, rafting and a whole array of watersports during the summer and skiing or dog-sledding during the winter months.

City Walk with Alta Museum and Borealis

Alta

Alta’s small city center holds some hidden gems and stories; see the town’s highlights and hear stories of Alta’s past and present. You will travel by bus from the hotel to Alta Museum, with its extensive exhibit on the Sami people as well as the seasons in the Arctic. You will also be able to see 4000 year old rick carvings. Then it’s back to city center and time for more stories of Alta’s older and more recent past, from the slate industry of the 1800s to tragedy in the 2000s.

The walk will bring you to the new centerpiece of Alta: the Northern Lights Cathedral. Your guide will tell you all about the building, from the outside construction to the symbolism of the artwork inside. The conclusion of the tour will be a visit to BorealisAlta, a new interactive exhibit about the northern lights in the basement of the church. The exhibition is packed with information about the science and mythology of the aurora.

Dog sledding

Transfer to the husky farm, where the huskies are eagerly waiting to take you out. You will be dressed up in thermal suits, boots, mittens etc. The mushers will instruct you how to harness the dogs and how to drive a dogsled. You will be going out in teams of two, and take turns in drivingthe dogsled

A truly memorable adventure!
