Why Thailand is such a great destination

Thailand – the beauty of our country

Thailand is one of the hottest destinations in the world. With its pristine beaches, wonderful food, amazing temples, lush jungles, enchanting country side and Ayutthaya and Bangkok (so famously praised by Murray Head as Oriental City), it is a country that will take your breath away.

Thailand’s country side is still the way it was many years ago, with its rivers, hills, rubber plantations, rice paddies and small farm houses. Here you can cruise along the rivers and canals, go elephant trekking, cycle, the list is endless.  Thailand’s beaches are some of the best in the world, from Patong Beach, Phuket to Maya Bay, Koh Phi Phi Ley, the choice is yours.

The Thai people are very friendly and the cuisine is simply amazing.   At Phoenix Voyages, DMC Thailand, we can organise events and incentives in spectacular settings. In Asia DMC Thailand, we would be delighted to send you a sample program.

Highlights in Thailand

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is one of the historical cities located in the north of Thailand, also referred to as “Rose of the North”. It is famous for its historical temples, picturesque mountains, cool weather, and scenic views.

Bangkok
Most major tourist attractions in Bangkok are historical
sites or religious sites such as temples.

There is beautiful architecture, you will find wall paintings and other fascinating places, such as palaces, museums, parks, and great shopping opportunities.

Wonderful places  like Chatuchak Weekend Market, Sampeng Market, Yaowarat and Phahurat night market or luxury department stores in all areas of Bangkok.

Pai Canyon
The Pai Canyon (also known as Kong Lan) is incredibly scenic. The canyon with stunning valley views and it’s one of the most amazing locations to catch a Pai sunset!

Mo Paeng waterfalls
One of the best waterfalls in Pai. When there is a lot of water, you can slide down the slippery rocks – a natural slide!

Khao Yai Park

Khao Yai is no doubt the best national park in Thailand for regular visitors where it is relatively easy to see some impressive animals.

Established in 1962 as Thailand’s first national park, it is the third largest national park in Thailand. Situated mainly in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Khao Yai extends into Prachinburi, Saraburi and Nakhon Nayok provinces. The main checkpoint of the park is 180 km from Bangkok.

Tham Lod Cave

Tham Lod is a cave system with a length of 1.666 meters. Geologic formations sprouting from the floor and ceiling, and forming flowstone columns where stalactites and stalagmites grew together. Tham Lod Cave is a natural limestone cave system

Chonburi

Chonburi, Bangkok’s nearest seaside town, is located on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, only 80 km away. The area boasts abundant natural resources, which are highlighted by delightful Beaches, Local traditions, regional delicacies, and fresh Seafood. This is a popular coastal province among Bangkokians who seek the nearest escape from hectic weekly schedules, escaping particularly frequently to the seaside resort of Pattaya, though Chonburi’s smaller, quieter seaside towns are also quite popular with foreigners and Thais alike. In addition to tourism, Chonburi is the centre of the Eastern Seaboard Development Project, with its industrial parks and Fishing villages.

Tourist attractions in Chonburi, Thailand, can serve all types of visitors. The adventurous may choose to visit Khao Sam Muk, where there are a Chinese shrine and cactus Gardens on the hilltop and many wild monkeys along the hillsides. Chonburi is also a heaven for beach lovers, with hotspots like Bang Saen, Pattaya, and Ko Lan. Nong Mon Market is where you can shop for local souvenirs such as handcrafted products and delicious foods like Ho Mok or Thai steamed fish curry, Khao Lam or sweet sticky rice in bamboo, sweet banana and taro chips, and candied fruits.

Other suggested places in Chonburi travel guides include JomTien Beach, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Sriracha Tiger Zoo, Prasat Sajja Tham (Sanctuary of Truth), Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Four Regions Floating Market, Ko Si Chang, Ko Samae San, and Mini Siam.

Phuket
Phuket  is located in southern Thailand. It is the biggest Island of Thailand and sits on the Andaman sea.

Phuket has a large Chinese influence, so you will see many Chinese shrines and Chinese Restaurants around the City. There are many other ethnicities bringing all their traditions and festivals from all over the world to Phuket.

Being a big island, Phuket is surrounded by many magnificent Beaches such as Rawai, Patong, Karon, Kamala, Kata Yai, Kata Noi, and Mai Khao. Laem Phromthep viewpoint is said to feature the most beautiful sunsets in Thailand.

It isn’t all just beaches though, there is also fantastic classical architecture such as the Goom Restaurant. That and the very welcome atmosphere and the famous Phuket NIGHTLIFE, you can see why the island is a hotspot for tourists in Thailand. We are also a Thailand travel agent and on any list of DMC in Thailand
